Description: This template can be paired with any writing prompt found on the internet! Students are meant to choose a writing prompt and glue it on their Creative Writing Worksheet. They may write during any of their free time. If the students meet the requirements dictated on the rubric, they can earn up to five extra credit points toward their writing grade! I even have students work in pairs, so I split the points they earn between them!

In the final lesson students need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work on to a neat copy on the template provided.

An informational writing unit about the Boston Tea Party and the start of the American Revolutionary War, also known as the War of Independence. The unit focuses on key facts about the protests and has been split into three separate lessons. It is perfect for students in third grade and fourth grade.

The first lesson is interactive and involves them cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to write four paragraphs. Then, in the final lesson your class will need to use the format provided to write an introduction for the text before checking their draft paragraphs for mistakes and writing up their work into a neat copy on the template provided.
