This dinosaur file has two Power Points and you can also use them as flashcards to print. Students will be able to show prior knowledge using pictures and also learn about dinosaur facts they didn't already know with created sentences. You can also write these sentences on sentence strips to match to pictures. This is great for any Elementary classroom or ESL class. You can use many ESL strategies to teach these dinosaur facts. The second part is about dinosaur body parts using the T Rex, Stegosaurus, and Anklysaurus. You can add to and remove slides as you feel necessary.

This PowerPoint is a great way for English & non English speakers to practice speaking and reading about their emotions. It consists of the vocabulary sad, angry, happy, and scared. You can also practice using: He is/She is, I am, I feel, I feel ___ because...., There are cute illustrations used from www.mycutegraphics.com by Laura Strickland (website gives permission to use) Teacher can use this powerpoint several different ways: 1. Read questions and sentences together. 2. Break into groups of two or more. Students will examine pictures and come up with a sentence to describe the picture. It can either be the same sentence that will pop on a click of the mouse or something similar. Use a point system to see can say the most correctly. 3. Print these cards out like flashcards and glue on construction paper. Then give each student a card. Teacher can say the sentence while others repeat. 4. Use other ESL strategies

This is a fun way to teach about birds in your classroom. Bring in a bird covered in a box for children to guess what it is. Then have them decide on a sentence that matches the picture individually or in groups. The next slide is a duplicate that gives the correct sentence or idea. You can use many ESL strategies to make it a fun practice, game, or assessment. You can also print to make flashcards. Concepts and pictures included are: feathers, wings, eyes, beaks, flying, eat worms or fish, have webbed feet or claws, live in trees, hatch from eggs

This a Power Point to practice the -ug word family. Students will see a picture to discuss, then the beginning sound will zoom in and then the end sound will zoom in to combine into a word (with sounds). One more click will give you a sentence using the specific -ug word. Words included are: bug, dug, hug, jug, lug, mug, pug, rug, tug, chug, drug, plug, shrug, slug, and snug. You can use many reading and ESL strategies with this PP. These can be printed in black and white as flashcards, but just so you know the beginning sound is separate from the ending sound.
