This creative Winter Concert Decorations: Art Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on the big screen. For this assignment, I asked students to get with a partner or into small groups and brainstorm subject matter, orientation, and theme of the overall composition. Plus, decide which group member(s) will be in charge of what to draw and where to draw it. Students will need to sketch out ideas first inside a sketchbook, transfer the sketches to Final Copy Paper, outline the large image, and start coloring in everything with crayon. • 3 My Friends Bingo: In each box is a description. After you read the description, students find a friend who fits the description and then they let them write their name in the box on the line. Have students complete all the boxes like a blackout in Bingo or just 3 in a row.
• 3 Student Surveys:
  - Option 1: Choose 1 out of the 3 surveys for students to complete.
  - Option 2: Let students choose 1 out of the 3 surveys to complete. - Option 3: Students can fill out all 3 of the surveys.
• My Class Friends Book: Students will interview a friend with the interview page. Collect and turn into a class book using either the color or black and white cover page. (color and black & white options included for the cover page!)
