The h-insertion trick can be an extremely helpful strategy to use when children are stuck at the isolation level of a sound. By producing /h/ after the initial sound, the child continues their air flow, making it easier to produce the following vowel. This helps them to eliminate the prior habit of producing the incorrect sound.

Do your students need a Question of The Day for February? Using a Question of The Day can lead to tremendous growth academically and socially. The Question of The Day Fun can be utilized during your Morning Meeting time along with your greeting and other activities.

These 27 Easter BOOM Cards tell the true story of the events leading up to and following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All reading portions are taken directly from the Bible (ESV) and contain full audio for your students or children.
