This activity provides the perfect opportunity for students to practice narrative writing in descriptive paragraphs, capturing the wonder and surprise of this extraordinary discovery.

  • Narrative Writing Prompt:
A writing prompt guides students through the storytelling process:
  1. Discovery: Describe the scene where you find the egg. Where are you? What are you doing? How do you discover the egg? Use vivid details to paint a picture for your reader.

Editable Pastel Nameplates | Cursive | Multiplication | Place Value | Nametags

By Kristen Teaches Fourth

Are you in need of cute and functional nameplates/nametags for your students? Look no further! This resource is perfect for you! These nametags measure approximately 4.27 inches high and 10.91 inches width wise (numbers will vary based on how you cut them out). These are a bit bigger so they won't fit in the holders from target but they are easy to laminate. Once you edit - print on your preferred paper (cardstock is my preference - I like Astrobrights), laminate and cut! Easy to cut - just cut across in the middle!

Students will be able to use these right away to help with their multiplication facts, place value and gives them an idea of what the cursive letters look like! There are 3 options! For the primary kiddos - numbers 1 -30 on the top and the primary alphabet on the bottom! I am using them in my fourth grade class and the students are already raving about how helpful they are - no more straining to see the posters!

I attach mine with velcro so that students can easily take them with them if they work in a different area of the room.

You will need a font KA Jackfruit for it to look just like mine. I included the link to purchase the font in the file. Zip files open to an editable powerpoint!

Review are appreciated and helpful for me! Please reach out with any questions or concerns!

FRENCH World Autism Day Colouring Pages- Jour du Chandail Bleu- Wear Blue Day

By La trousse de Madame

World Autism Awareness Day Activity Pack

I love creating NO PREP activities when I can for my French teacher peeps! Sharing my resources with colleagues has been a practice since the beginning of my career and I think that’s what makes us all stick together and help one another out. French resources can be scarce, and this is what has led to my starting my STORE on TeachShare.

For more fun and engaging activities for your French students, please check out my STORE La troussede Madame and keep coming back as I build a bigger library of items!

How to use this resource:

  1. Copy out pages, I like to copy out a set and then load them into the copier and make multiples that way students sitting side by side do not have the same work and they tend to be more creative with their colouring.

  2. Set out as many pink colouring materials as you can and let the students go

  3. I created a poster size pair of T-shirts and copied onto blue paper to make a display for World Autism Awareness Day 2024

  4. Hang student artwork below your poster and display for the school to see

  5. Use writing version to create slogans, sentences, or positive affirmations to raise awareness

This item honours World Autism Awareness Day and is a great tool for your teacher toolkit. I can’t wait to hear how you have decided to use this resource in your classroom!

Terms of use:

You may use this resource for your classroom and the students in your care. This resource is not to be shared amongst your colleagues and may not be copied and sold. This material has been created by me and all copyrighted images and fonts have been properly attributed to their creators.

Please have the respect for the time that we all put in to bring fun and interesting activities to your classroom! If you would like multiple licenses for other colleagues, please click the 'additional licenses' button!

JE VOUS SOUHAITE UNE BONNE JOURNEE DU CHANDAIL BLEU

Who can use this resource:

Teachers who are looking for French resources who want quick and easy NO PREP materials that their students will love. A fresh new look on a great idea and the best part is you just have to click 'print'.

Students love the clear lettering and can get creative using all the various pink writing materials in the class. I gave my students free reign of anything pink and they came up with their own unique designs.

Students are proud to be a part of a bigger project that they can all display with pride.

What grade level:

I personally use these resources with Grade 1 and Grade 2 students in French Immersion. I feel confident that students from K-3 will find these most useful and teachers can come back to the images and T-shirts with any students who may be experiencing challenges finding unique ways of honouring our friends and family members living with autism. Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to express themselves at the Junior level in French.
