Adaptive Books with a Halloween prepositions theme cover a variety of prepositions (in, on, around, behind, beside, above, and under. This set of adapted books includes three books!

Two books require your students to follow the directions to put icons in the correct place. Each book has eight different pictures to place appropriately in the book. As part of the preparation process, you will want to add multiple pieces of velcro to ensure students demonstrate understanding by their specific placement of the icons.

~ The Case of the Christmas Snowman literature unit can be used with a guided reading group or as a whole class novel study. ~Questions are based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and use higher level thinking skills. Many questions also elicit story recall responses. ~Included in the unit: -vocabulary for the book -comprehension questions for each chapter -extension project – Snowman Bingo game ~ I use this unit with one of my guided reading groups. The unit can last from a week to two weeks depending on how often I meet with the group. My guided reading groups also set their own expectations/assignments for completing their books. ~ The Case of the Christmas Snowman is an AR level 3.0 book.
