Empower and Calm Teacher Bundle
By Lara Hocheiser
Teachers tell me they can't integrate yoga and mindfulness for two reasons: They don't know how and they don't have time. I hear that 100%.
This product is made to help you SAVE time, but first, you have to invest your time. If you spend ten minutes a day, 3 times a week in September and October, by November you only spend 5 minutes, and by January kids are doing this all by themselves. You can learn it together and then you ALL get the skills! Imagine that! Imagine the time you will save not micro-managing behavior.
A colleague and first-grade teacher name Nicole did just as I described above and her class was lightyears more manageable by mid-year than the other groups. People would comment about how quietly they walked in the hallway and how quickly they transitioned from activity to activity. She invested the time and was paid back in dividends. I developed this product to help others share in Nicole's success.
Together, we can use yoga and mindfulness to learn about and take care of our bodies.
Social-emotional learning and self-awareness can be learned using this product. Think of the responsible decisions children can begin to make when we help them connect the dots inward and outward.
Commit to this lesson unit to help your students become more aware of their bodies as you guide them to make mindful connections between how body parts may feel and how can we care for ourselves. Explore ten (10) key body parts and how we can use body awareness to learn about our bodies and emotions while gaining valuable exercise. Each body part has accompanying yoga poses, mindful activities, and facilitated discussion prompts.
The Empower and Calm Teacher Bundle is made for educators, parents, and anyone doing yoga with children!
Give your students the tools to exercise and check-in with their mind and body.
Introducing the Empower and Calm Yoga Bundle, aimed at getting kids moving while learning about self-awareness and boosting self-esteem.
This bundle includes three (3) yoga units and two (2) yoga card decks geared at empowering, energizing, and strengthening our bodies and minds.
In this bundle you will get:
Lesson Plans for Educators
My Body and Caring for Myself:
The Student workbook can be printed for all of your students, providing self-reflection questions, yoga poses, and meditations for each of 10 body parts.
The teacher's guide assists in facilitating deeper discussions and gives tips for knowing when to move on, and ways to expand the material.
The glossary gives instructions for every pose and meditation.
The slideshow can be used as a visual with basic talking points for you to guide your students with ease from the SMARTBOARD.
Empowerment:
Helping with the back to school blues, challenge your students to strengthen their self-esteem and bodies at once, while facilitating nuanced discussions and meditations.
Time For Me Cards
With fewer words and easy-to-use illustrated yoga poses, children can do relaxing poses to handle any stressor. Provide a place where children are welcome to use these during class, and help them become self-sufficient.
Our yoga lesson plans give the tools to facilitate conversations, games, activities, and yoga experiences to kids of all ages. Use our beautifully-illustrated yoga cards as a visual aid to teach children the yoga poses. Each yoga pose and activity have how-to instruction, written for children.
With this bundle, children will gain the benefits of yoga and mindfulness while learning about the importance of body awareness and how to manage big emotions.

By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
This ten-week Spanish writing program will have your students writing every day. Each of the ten writing activities in this program includes five pre-writing and writing activities for Monday through Friday. These writing prompts are a great way both to introduce and to review writing. Provide each student with a "párrafo de la semana" folder and have them add to it every day as you give them daily assignments. At the end of the week have them turn in their folders. On Monday, you can start over again with a new theme.
Here are the themes included in set 2:
❶ la persona que más admiro
❷ mi cumpleaños
❸ mi comida favorita
❹ los restaurantes
❺ los deportes
❻ después de la escuela
❼ la ropa
❽ mi barrio
❾ nuestra aula
❿ emociones
Ways you can use this program:
✎ Enhance your program by practicing a little every day.
✎ Use the worksheets at centres Monday - Friday.
✎ Daily 5 rotations
✎ Homework
✎ Independent work
✎ Small group work
Here’s how this writing program works:
✍Lunes: Dibujo - Give students a drawing page with a writing prompt at the top. This will have them beginning to think about the writing theme for the week and is their first pre-writing assignment. Kids love drawing, and the pictures they draw will later serve as inspiration!
✍Martes: Mi folleto de vocabulario - Each student receives a booklet to help them explore the vocabulary related to the week’s writing theme. The front page includes the writing prompt of the week and an image. The second page includes over 80 frequently used Spanish words. Page three lists 12 words that go along with the theme of the week, and the back page has space for ten words that students have either thought of on their own or looked up in the dictionary. The booklet is a simple one page printable that you can either fold in advance or have students do it on their own. Kids write their name on the front cover and you could have them color it.
✍Miercoles: Vocabulario - Students go back to their vocabulary booklets from Tuesday and choose ten words that they will include in their rough draft. The words they choose can be a combination of words they have chosen and themed vocabulary that was already written in the booklet. They then write down the chosen words on their vocabulary page that says ”Palabras de vocabulario útiles: Utilizaré estas palabras en mi párrafo".
✍Jueves: Mi borrador - Students write a rough draft of their paragraph using the vocabulary words selected on Wednesday. The borrador page includes a 5 point checklist at the top for students to evaluate their work for themselves before writing the final copy on Friday. This will motivate students to look over their work and make corrections.
✍Viernes: Mi borrador final - The fifth and final step in this writing program is to write the final copy. Students should feel very confident in writing about this week’s theme by now. At the top of the final copy page they’ll see the writing prompt and question words that they can ask themselves while writing: quién - qué - cuándo - dónde - por qué - cómo

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I am so glad I purchased all three bundles to support my FSL programming. The vocabulary bundle compliments both the Reading and Writing bundles as the themes/units are the same. This particular bundle made teaching the necessary vocabulary fun and it allowed for greater understanding and success with all of my learners and their individual needs."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I don't even know where to begin. This resource is a life saver!!!! I love how well laid out and organised each topic is. Also, I was able to choose easier topics for my more struggling writers. I have recommended this resource to several colleagues."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Great resource to use in Daily 5 activities. Used along with the reading and vocab programs made planning a breeze. Kids enjoyed the activities and the layout was easy to follow."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "This was a great way to get students writing and expanding their vocabulary. It is low prep which makes the teacher's life easy. There were so many different topics that students don't get bored."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I really feel like this package allows so much success for students. It repeats the same thing every week so students can get used to this process and develop their writing every week! Can't wait to use this for many years to come."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We read the text as a class and then read each sentence individually asking questions about what the sentence means and what the words are. I always started my morning with this as it allowed students to get focused and ready to learn. Also, after having done many together, I would then have the students do one alone and use it as assessment. They would get feedback and we would continue again to work on the readings together, then another assessment. It worked well because they had many attempts to practice and knew what was expected before the assessment piece came."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "This was extremely helpful in keeping me organized with reading instruction. It complimented my language programming so well. I only wish I had discovered the bundle sooner as my students did really well once we had established predictable routines and expectations with the texts."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Using this resource in combination with the vocabulary and reading program and I am absolutely loving it! The students are engaged and learning and BUSY while I run reading groups which is all I could ask for. Thank you!"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "This has been a lifesaver for trying to do reading groups with my older students. It's easy enough for them to do on their own and still increasing their vocabulary! I'm using it with both the reading and writing program and it keeps them busy and engaged for long enough to run groups!"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "This is the perfect way to do word work and incorporate it into their reading and writing. It helps them to make the vocab relevant to their own learning."

By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
Looking for a comprehensive Spanish writing program? This whole year Spanish writing program will have your students writing every day. Each of the fifty writing activities in this program includes five pre-writing and writing activities for Monday through Friday. These writing prompts are a great way both to introduce and to review writing. Provide each student with a párrafo de la semana folder and have them add to it every day as you give them daily assignments. At the end of the week have them turn in their folders. On Monday, you can start over again with a new theme.
This párrafo de la semana writing resource contains 50 weeks worth of Monday through Friday prewriting and writing activities. When you purchase this Spanish writing bundle you save 25% and as a bundle bonus you also get the same prompts in the form of speaking cards for differentiated learning. This encourages students to speak to each other in small groups using the same themes and vocabulary they’ve worked with through the writing program. For the speaking prompts, there is also a PDF with only one card per slide if you prefer to project the prompts or use them on tablets rather than printing.
