This Preview Pack includes 5 of the 21 songs from the full program curriculum. Budgeting: Managing money - basic expenses, other purchases, saving money, writing a check, why we use checks, where we bring checks, banks, clients of a bank, who works at a bank - bank teller, using an ATM, opening and using a bank account, writing a check - examples, writing out a check, using a credit card, spending time wisely on homework, physical activity, interests, friends and family, and time alone, healthful entertainment, community health, careers and examples of careers, places you can go for health care - home, school, doctor's office, mental health centers, community health departments, health clinics, and hospitals - inpatient and outpatient.

Pollution: Environment, natural resources, pollution, types of pollution - land, air, and water pollution, sanitary landfills, ways to reduce air pollution - ozone, smog, and acid rain, algae/red tides, ways to reduce air pollution, what things you should avoid that can harm the environment, how to reduce pollution, reducing water pollution, conserving water, ways to conserve water, recycle, reduce, and reuse, saving energy - solar panels, wind turbines, and how to save energy at home. Students are provided with notes on each of the above topics. Students will answer multiple choice comprehension questions and short answer comprehension questions independently or with support.
