Diwali Sudoku

♣ Print out 1 sudoku per student.

♣ Students cut off the right side of the sheet along the dotted line and cut out the missing sudoku pictures. They glue them into the sudoku grid so that all 6 words appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame.

♣ Each word must appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame only once.

Words That Rhyme - Pumpkin Themed:

This is a fun activity that not only focuses on matching rhyming words but also gives your students a way to practice their fine motor cutting skills. There are #10 different fall words (in both black and white as well as color). Each word has #5 different words to cut out and then choose which words rhyme with the fall themed word on the pumpkin. They will then glue the words that rhyme to the pumpkin. Below is a list of the #10 fall themed words. There is both a black and white copy as well as a copy in color for each word that you can choose from. Sometimes I prefer printing in color and then other times I like to give my students the opportunity to make it their own and color their work. So it just depends on which way you prefer!

This is a Valentine's Day themed math mystery that is best for grades 4 & 5. The geometry topics focus on types of angles, (acute, right, obtuse or straight angle), types of lines (parallel, perpendicular or intersecting), symmetry, finding the measure of an unknown angle and classifying angles by side measure (equilateral, isosceles or scalene). This product aligns with the 4th grade Engage NY Module 4 or Eureka math. While this product product specifically aligns with grade 4 standards, it would be a great review for 5th grade students nearing state test time; it would be a fun, engaging review that could be done as a whole group or independently.
