INSTRUCTIONS:
Mystery picture
♣ Print out 1 mystery picture per student.
♣ Students cut up the answer tiles and then place them on the correct question tiles to match the words with the definitions.
♣ They can glue the question tiles onto the answer tiles and color the picture too.
Diwali Sudoku
♣ Print out 1 sudoku per student.
♣ Students cut off the right side of the sheet along the dotted line and cut out the missing sudoku pictures. They glue them into the sudoku grid so that all 6 words appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame.
♣ Each word must appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame only once.
♣ Check with the whole class - students have to name in English all pictures in the given row, column or 2x3 frame.

This product is a mystery picture using a coordinate plane grid that when completed, creates a Christmas ornament. This product includes the coordinates for the students that will guide them in making the mystery picture, an answer key that illustrates which coordinate groups create which feature of the ornament, and an example of what the completed product should look like when finished. Halloween Mystery Puzzle- (No Prep)- The Case of the Missing Candy Cauldron

Looking for a fun and engaging way to celebrate Halloween with your students? The Halloween Mystery: The Case of the Missing Candy Cauldron is the perfect activity for the spooky season! This hands-on, interactive mystery is designed to keep students excited and thinking critically as they solve puzzles and uncover the culprit behind the stolen candy cauldron at the annual Monster Halloween Bash.
Background Story: Every year, the monsters—Frankenstein, Dracula, werewolves, ghosts, zombies, and witches—gather for the Annual Halloween Monster Bash, a highly anticipated event where they enjoy spooky fun, games, and candy. This year, however, something went terribly wrong. As the monsters were dancing and enjoying the festivities, the cauldron filled with candy mysteriously disappeared! The cauldron is the heart of the Monster Bash, and without it, the party can't go on. Someone had stolen the candy, and it was up to the students to find out which monster was responsible before Halloween was ruined!
Suspect List: Students will be introduced to six classic Halloween monsters who attended the party, and any one of them could be the candy thief. The suspects include:
- Limping Larry (the zombie)
- Wags Wolfington (the werewolf)
- Broomhilda (the witch)
- Frank E. Stein (Frankenstein’s monster)
- Baron Von Bat (the vampire)
- Spook E. Doo (the ghost)
Each monster has a unique personality, motive, and evidence that students will use to narrow down the suspects as they solve puzzles. Could it have been Frank E. Stein, who wanted to share the candy with his monster friends? Or maybe Baron Von Bat, who just wanted to show off by stealing the cauldron?
Puzzle Types:The activity includes four different types of Halloween-themed puzzles and ciphers that students will need to solve to gather clues. Each puzzle reveals new information, helping students cross off suspects from their list. The puzzles are designed to engage students while promoting problem-solving skills. Examples of puzzles include:
- Codebreaking: Deciphering Halloween-themed codes.
- Word puzzles: Using letters and numbers to unlock clues.
How It Works: This activity is designed to be versatile and adaptable to various classroom settings. It can be completed independently, used as a fast finisher activity, or done as a group project where students collaborate to solve the mystery together. St. Patrick's Day Writing Prompts (No prep)

This resource includes 10 St. Patrick's Day themed writing prompts that would be best suited toward upper elementary or earlier middle schoolers. Each writing prompt features an engaging writing prompt, St. Patrick's Day themed cute background and front/back page of lines to allow students that have more to say a significant amount of space to do so. These writing prompts would be great for morning work, centers, fast finishers, independent writing tasks, etc.
The writing prompt questions include:
- Do you think that four leaf clovers actually bring a person good luck? Why or why not?
- Leprechauns are known for being mischievous and playing tricks. If you were a leprechaun, what tricks would you play on people?
- Which holiday is better, St. Patrick’s Day or Easter? Why?
- Where do you think that leprechauns get all that gold from?
- Where is the best place for a leprechaun to hide a pold of gold? Why?
- If you were a leprechaun, where would you hide your pot of gold so that no one finds it?
- Who would be more fun to hang out with, leprechauns or Santa’s elves? Why?
- Design a trap to catch a leprechaun. Describe it in detail and draw a picture of it.
