¿Quién no ama los clásicos juegos de mesa? Esta es una adaptación navideña de uno de ellos. Tira los dados y mueve tu ficha. Intenta ser el primero en llegar exactamente a la casilla 36 y no caer en las bombas ya que te harán retroceder. Si aterrizas al comienzo de las flechas avanzarás muchas casillas. Si aterrizas en el primer sombrero, te llevará al segundo sombrero, pero si aterrizas en el segundo, te llevará de regreso al primero. No es necesario saberse las reglas pues al caer en una de estas casillas se activará automáticamente la animación que mueva tu ficha al lugar que le corresponda.

Pueden jugar de 1 a 4 jugadores o grupos de jugadores. Mi consejo es dividir la clase en 2, 3 o 4 grupos. Después de cada movimiento de la ficha, trata de responde uno de los 94 acertijos que aparecerán aleatoriamente al hacer clic en las cartas de preguntas. Cada grupo dará su respuesta por consenso y el grupo que la acierte, o que más se acerque a su respuesta correcta, será el que continúe el juego tirando los dados nuevamente. As with all of my Core French products, this one is geared toward a LOW-LEVEL middle-school classroom (grades 3-7). It's high-energy, interactive, highly engaging and requires no prep. It ties in to some science concepts for grades 5 & 6 on biodiversity and adaptations. It features a significant amount of game-based learning and some project-based learning

There are three longer projects included with this unit: "Mon drôle d'animal" which has them building a silly animal and describing its body parts and details; "Mon animal perdu," a poster project which has them creating a poster for their missing pet, and "Une interview à la radio" which has them writing a radio script to find their lost pet with a partner.

• "Mon animal perdu" - A formal rubric which focuses on their ability to meet the checklist criteria, to be creative, or to be effective communicators in the radio interview.

Fractions Jeopardy Game: Engaging and Editable

Unleash the excitement of fractions with this interactive Jeopardy game in PowerPoint! With 25 dynamic fraction questions and answers, this resource is fully editable, allowing you to customize the content to best suit your students' needs.

How to Play:

1. Divide your students into up to 5 teams.
2. Play the PowerPoint presentation.
3. On slide number 3 (HOME), you'll find 25 banknotes ranging from $100 to $500. Clicking on any of them will lead you to a different question.

Answering the Fraction Question:

• The question remains the same throughout ("What fraction of this shape is colored?"), but the colored portion of the shape changes each time.
• To reveal the answer, click on the girl at the bottom of the slide. A new slide will appear, presenting the answer in four different ways:
  • The shape divided into equal parts, with the fraction represented in each.
  • The addition of all colored equal parts (e.g., 1/3 + 1/3=?).
  • The result represented in numbers (e.g., 2/3).
  • The result represented in words (e.g., two-thirds).

Customizable and Easy to Use:

• On the question slide, select the chart representing the shape and use Chart Tools to edit the data. You can change the number of portions of the shape and color the desired number of portions.
• For a fresh set of questions to challenge your students, easily modify the links of the 25 buttons (banknotes) on slide number 3.
