Looking for a way to help your students practice the skill of decoding? With blending lines, you can do just that. This quick no-prep digital or paper activity can have your students practicing decoding (sounding out) words in a snap. These blending lines are phonics focused and are great for whole-group or small-group learning. I’ve based these lists on Wiley Blevins’s suggestions for blending lines.

  • A simple game on continuous and discrete data (with answer keys imbedded in the slides for self-correction).
  • A look into axis breaks.

If you click on the number of sides shown in the chart for each of the shapes, an animation clearly shows which sides are. If you click on the number of angles or the number of vertices, they will also be clearly shown to the student using individual animations.

Apart from the shape drawn as an example, a real example of that shape and another example of that shape in the art world are shown. To see this last example larger, click on it.

¿Quién no ama los clásicos juegos de mesa? Esta es una adaptación navideña de uno de ellos. Tira los dados y mueve tu ficha. Intenta ser el primero en llegar exactamente a la casilla 36 y no caer en las bombas ya que te harán retroceder. Si aterrizas al comienzo de las flechas avanzarás muchas casillas. Si aterrizas en el primer sombrero, te llevará al segundo sombrero, pero si aterrizas en el segundo, te llevará de regreso al primero.
