Great beginning of year project for upper elementary (4th grade and up) and middle school students! This plaster project has everything to start a successful year in the classroom - high student engagement, multiple project variations to finish plaster colors wheels with different media, worksheets for off-task or disruptive students, plus step-by-step instructions with photos - to guarantee an excellent outcome for your students, even if you have never used plaster before. A bonus for this project is after students make their own color wheel, they can use it for the rest of the school year as they work on other art projects.

Challenging your students doesn't mean it can't be fun, creative, and group collaboration. This is a Geography Asia research or wrap-up assignment that can be used throughout the study of Asia (or modified to fit another topic) in geography, world history, and other social studies classes. I have used this in my class for 7 years and it has been a very successful learning tool. This can easily be modified the assignment to fit various topics. Students and parents love this assignment because it is fun and reflects what students have learned. Students are proud of their work when they finish. The idea of the lesson can be changed to fit studies within other core subjects, such as science. This is a supplemental activity that will enhance students learning within the unit study. The teacher-ready supplemental activities included in this lesson are focused on an Asia Unit.

This newly updated *94 page* unit will cover you for roughly 7-9 Core French 1-hour classes and features a teachable slide deck, worksheets, lesson plans, rubrics, success criteria, a word wall, a phrase wall and numerous suggestions to get your kids having fun, moving, interacting and legitimately enjoying French class with you. As with all of my Core French products, this one is geared toward a LOW-LEVEL middle-school classroom (grades 3-7). It's high-energy, interactive, highly engaging and requires no prep. Firstly, there is a great classroom display and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to Anne Frank and some of the key events of World War 2. There are 42 posters or cards that include many of the key events from her life and some from the Second World War.

Secondly, there is a close reading activity - children need to read through an informational text, and then answer comprehension and grammar questions, before completing an extension activity.

Finally, there is a biography writing unit. The unit has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. Ideal for students learning about World War II.

This packet focuses on learning about the different kinds of animals that live in the grasslands. Included are writing pages, project instructions, center activities and wall posters. It can be a simple packet for talking about the animals in general or you can go further by learning about the animals in the tropical grasslands vs. the temperate grasslands as well as learning which ones live in the African Savanna or the American Prairie/Great Plains. Table of Contents Pages 3-5 – These pages are a sorting activity where students can sort the animals according to whether they are in a tropical grassland or in a temperate grassland. They can also sort animals to whether they live in the African Savanna or the American Prairie/Great Plains. Pages 6-17 – The pages are for drawing pictures of different kinds of grasslands and drawing animals that live there. Student will write the names for the animals they draw. There are pages for grasslands, tropical grasslands, temperate grasslands, the African Savanna, the American Prairie and the Great Plains.
