Using math skills, students will work through five clues to narrow down a list of ten suspects and discover who is behind the curse.

This mystery focuses on key place value skills aligned with 4th-grade standards:

• Finding the Value of a Digit in multi-digit numbers
• Comparing Multi-Digit Numbers to determine larger or smaller values

This product aligns with the 4th grade Engage NY Module 4 or Eureka math. While this product product specifically aligns with grade 4 standards, it would be a great review for 5th grade students nearing state test time; it would be a fun, engaging review that could be done as a whole group or independently.
