Teaching students how to make good choices, as well as the difference between good choices and poor choices is crucial. Teach children decision-making skills and how to make good choices with this cut and glue puzzle activity for elementary students.
This resource includes six cut and glue activity sheets, all featuring different situations. Students cut out the situation puzzle pieces, and sort them based on if they are good or poor choices. They then glue the puzzle pieces into their proper places on their worksheets.

This product includes 1 social story that focuses on spreading rumors. Vocabulary that is reviewed and discussed in depth include - spreading rumors, positive self-esteem, negative self-esteem, gossiping, reputation, and the expression - fight fire with fire.
Students will also learn about the following - how spreading rumors can impact self-esteem, how you will feel when you have positive self-esteem, how you will feel when you have negative self-esteem, how to build self-esteem, how one would feel if a rumor was spread about them or how one would feel if they spread a rumor and the person that spread a rumor found out, the negative impacts of spreading rumors, what to do if someone spreads a rumor about you, and 1 social story that focuses on a student spreading a rumor about another student supposedly cheating off his test.
The social story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. This product encourages students to understand the negative impacts spreading rumors may have, how someone would feel if a rumor was spread about them, and a mature way to how to handle a situation when a rumor is spread.

These cut-and-fold activities are quick to prep, easy to assemble, and highly effective at teaching calming strategies and emotional regulation skills.
Encourage students to use their self-assessment skills to look for signs of anger and use anger thermometers to gauge their anger levels. Encourage your students to identify, describe, and learn ways to manage their feelings through the creation of an anger monster. You will be blown away to see students implement anger management strategies they learned through the creation of their anger monster into their everyday lives.

Each of the ten anger alien templates includes various types of questions for differentiating based on ability levels. The anger alien templates include a variety of drawing and writing activities designed to calm students while challenging them to think of ways to manage their anger.
