This no prep Google Slides project works perfectly with almost any middle grade/YA fiction novel. While students are highly engaged and thinking creatively they are simultaneously analyzing text elements such as the plot, conflict, resolution, theme, and point of view of various characters. This resource includes directions, an editable yearbook template, and a teacher exemplar in case students need ideas bringing their work to life. Integrates seamlessly to Google Classroom!

The ELA department at my school uses independent projects like these in our choice boards as students finish their work early. This would also be great to replace book reports or as an extension or passion project!

Great beginning of year project for upper elementary (4th grade and up) and middle school students! This plaster project has everything to start a successful year in the classroom - high student engagement, multiple project variations to finish plaster colors wheels with different media, worksheets for off-task or disruptive students, plus step-by-step instructions with photos - to guarantee an excellent outcome for your students, even if you have never used plaster before. A bonus for this project is after students make their own color wheel, they can use it for the rest of the school year as they work on other art projects.

Thangkas are traditional Tibetan Buddhist paintings depicting deities, scenes, or mandalas on cotton or silk appliqué. Throughout Asia, these exquisite scroll paintings are treasured for their spiritual significance and intricate craftsmanship. In our lesson, we will dive deep into the history and symbolism of Thangka art, highlighting its importance in Asian culture.

Heroes Preserve Our Planet: Happy Earth Collaboration Poster

Join us in celebrating Earth Day with our collaborative poster project, "Earth Day Heroes." This vibrant poster is a collective effort to raise awareness and inspire action for the protection of our planet. Here we come together to showcase the beauty of our Earth and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

In this delightful activity, each student will receive a unique coloring page. These coloring pages are sure to captivate the imagination of every student. What makes this activity truly special is that each individual coloring page is a piece of a larger puzzle, contributing to the creation of a collaborative masterpiece.

The collaborative poster is in a 37.5x35-inch size, divided into 20 squares (one for each student).

The design features very clean edges.
