This math notebook is full of guided notes for all 7th grade math standards. A great way to introduce new concepts, or review for state testing. It is always a good strategy to review essential skills with your students, and this is right up there with the most essential!
The purpose of this exercise is to give students THREE exciting ways to learn how to correctly write down the coordinates of a point on the coordinate plane. Students get the following three opportunities to practice coordinates:
1. They have to write down coordinates correctly.
2. They have to plot coordinates of a friend correctly.
3. They have to check if their friend wrote down the coordinates of all points correctly.
The exercise is a fun, DIY printable task for students. The learning outcomes of the exercise involve x-coordinate, y-coordinate, The Coordinate Plane, quadrants, The Cartesian Plane, origin, plotting points, ordered pairs.
