This second set of bell ringers asks students to use their class atlases to read maps, graphs, and charts such as map projections, climate maps, time zone maps, population pyramids, and more. Although they are specified for the first six weeks, they can be used at any time throughout the year. The atlas used for reference is the Rand McNally 6th Edition found on Amazon for $15 found here. The questions can remain the same.

This lesson includes a fun Human Twister intro activity, cooperative learning reading activity, chart population activity, and "**Share What You Learned "**exit card for the wrap-up. Students will be actively engaged through the entire lesson, working cooperatively with one another to examine issues and complete tasks. This lesson includes 14 pages of detailed teacher instructions, a Human Twister Introductory activity, a reading assignment, and fun enhancement activities, as well as a group share wrap-up activity.
