PLACE VALUE & POWERS OF TEN: questions involve the students understanding of the use of the powers of ten and their connection to place value, beginning with the basic expansion of a number and then progressing into more difficult applications.

READ, WRITE, & COMPARE DECIMALS: questions require students to be able to read and write a decimal in word form, standard form, and expanded form. Students are also asked to compare and order various fractions.

MULTIPLY & DIVIDE WHOLE NUMBERS: questions begin with multi-digit multiplication and division problems and move into more difficult problems with models and word problems to allow for application of the skills
