Test Materials for WonderWorks: Grade 6
By Peter D
This is a 96-page set of test materials to go along with the WonderWorks Interactive Worktext (McGraw-Hill) for grade six.
Note that these worksheets go along with the 1st edition published in 2013 with ISBN 0021298149. Please verify that you have the same edition before purchasing this product.
Part of the goal in creating these test materials is to help students prepare for standardized tests. When students take standardized tests, they often struggle with text-dependent questions because they have not had much practice with these types of questions. The text-dependent questions included in this set of test materials are quite challenging and require careful consideration within the context of each story.
For each week in the Interactive Worktext, there are two weekly tests:
* page 1: comprehension questions (multiple choice), vocabulary, paragraph writing
* page 2: text-dependent questions (multiple choice)
After each unit, there are six pages of unit test materials:
* page 1: comprehension questions (multiple choice)
* page 2: vocabulary, paragraph writing, true-false
* page 3 - page 5: text dependent questions (multiple choice)
* page 6: paragraph writing
There is also an answer key included at the end of the file.
Worksheets for WonderWorks Interactive Worktexts:
* WonderWorks Grade Two
* WonderWorks Grade Three
* WonderWorks Grade Four
* WonderWorks Grade Five
* WonderWorks Grade Six
Test Materials for WonderWorks Interactive Worktexts:
* Test Materials: WonderWorks Grade Two
* Test Materials: WonderWorks Grade Three
* Test Materials: WonderWorks Grade Four
* Test Materials: WonderWorks Grade Five
* Test Materials: WonderWorks Grade Six

Programming in Scratch 8: My Blocks
By Howlin' Husky Math Games
Hello and welcome!
Are you math teacher and have been thrown into teaching a computer science course? Now you have NO IDEA where to start! Have you taught computer science, but want to try something else? Math and computer science are related, but are not the same!
I have your back. I've been teaching math and computer science, including APCSP, APCSA, and Data Structures for almost two decades. Scratch is a really easy to learn language to learn which makes it perfect for beginners. Block based coding looks very simple at first, but it is just as intricate as a keyed language. The difference is that coders don't need to memorize complex syntax to use it. This makes it perfect for younger kids; but it's still complex enough for older students.
This is part 8 of a semester long programming in Scratch course.
Topics:
Programming in Scratch 8: My Blocks
All lessons will come with the following:
a pdf slideshow
A pacing guide with hints for teaching the section and common student errors
an assignment, differentiated with three different levels!
an answer key in pdf form
Depending on your style, you could go over the slides as a group, then let students play around. Or you could just give them the slides and assignment and let them go.
Let students explore and make mistakes. Let them talk to each other and discuss their approaches. Programming takes a lot of trial and error and collaboration.
Great for asynchronous learning and homeschooling! Could be used as a self- taught lesson or go at your own pace! Everything for learning is included!
Welcome to the world of programming! It's going to be a blast!

French City - La Ville Taboo Speaking Game and Question Cards Bundle
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
Two of my favorite French city - ville speaking activities to keep students engaged, communicating in French, and having fun are included in this bundle. If you are looking for ways to improve la communication orale in your French class, your students will love playing taboo and speaking French together using the question cards! Check out the preview for more details. Save 20% with this bundle.
Taboo is a fun French speaking and listening game where one student has to guess a word based on clues given in French by other students. The catch is that they cannot mention anything that is included in a list of taboo words.
All of the words on each card are written in French and English. This is very useful as many of the words will be new to students whether they are beginners or very advanced. You can easily modify this game to play it with all levels!
Question cards are perfect for reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, and getting your students to speak French together! Very low prep. Just print and cut out the cards and you're ready to go!
Almost all of the est-ce que questions are asked in the tu form and require students to reply using je. Some of the questions encourage oui and non responses, but never without pushing for a bit more information like asking pourquoi. The questions include le présent, le passé composé et le futur proche.
Included With En Ville Taboo Game:

Marking Period/Quarter/Trimester Student Reflections | Report Cards | Progress
By Perfectly Planned Designs
Teachers know it is important to allow students to reflect on their strengths and weaknesses so they can grow and improve. I created these reflection sheets to make it easy! I simply print these reflections out at the end of each Marking Period and have students reflect on their grade as well as the quality of work they turned in. They then describe how they can improve as we begin the next Marking Period. Reflection sheets are also included in case your school uses Quarters or Trimesters.
