I believe in Game Based Learning and Project Based Learning in the classroom. This bundle is part of my GBL Program.

Need to motivate your Spanish students?  Want to incorporate more REAL culture into your classes? Need them to work together?  This digital escape room is a FUN way to do both!  Students must watch and read the Google slides and also do some research of their own to help solve a crime. Students can complete this challenge in school or digitally from home! No-prep fun activity for ALL of your classes!

Some important objects have been stolen from the Soccer Museum at Camp Nou in Barcelona.  Help the police chase down the thieves as you travel around Spain!  To find the next clue, students must answer cultural questions about Spain.  From those answers, they must figure out codes that will open digital locks (in a google form).  Students get the next set of pictures and clues after each lock is opened! 

This Escape Room is suitable for all middle and high school students.  It focuses on famous places and interesting cultural details, not on grammar.  This resource comes in a Spanish version appropriate for students in Year 3 and up, and also an English version for Novice Spanish students or any student interested in Spanish culture!  It’s a great way to get students talking to each other at the beginning of the year, or a fun way to wrap up a school year too! Need a brain break from the normal curriculum? This should do the trick!

These Spanish Winter Writing Prompts solve a number of your challenges! Provide student choice and differentiation with the variety of prompts! This is one of my students' favorite projects and a great way to wrap up a unit on clothing. In this project, students will embark on a virtual shopping adventure to purchase clothing items for a family in need. With $600 American dollars collected for a family affected by a recent house fire, students will use their language skills to navigate an authentic Spanish online store to select clothing items for a family of four. My fashionistas get particularly into this one!

Students will:

• Translate their American dollars into Spanish Euros

• Browse through clothing categories

• Convert to European sizes

• Add items to their virtual shopping cart

• Stay within a given budget

• Take notes on new Spanish vocabulary encountered during their shopping experience.

• Complete a "Listo de Regalos" to document their purchases

• Prepare a brief oral presentation in Spanish to share with the class.

This project not only reinforces essential language skills such as vocabulary acquisition and currency conversion but also promotes empathy, cultural awareness, and community engagement. Mayan Civilization Spanish and English Version

Día de los muertos is a holiday that fascinates our students!  Use this Drag and Drop vocab puzzle to work WITH them instead of against them!  Print or display the vocabulary list of terms related to the celebration of Day of the Dead.  Then, let each student drag and drop the puzzle pieces to form a 4 x 3 puzzle that matches the Spanish words with their English translations.  It’s not as easy as it looks!!  But your students will be focused and learning new vocabulary the whole time!
