This is a great exercise to also explore con-current Character Traits in action where two or more traits exist together and not in isolation to each other. HOW TO PLAY

1.Simply pass out the cards to all the players individually.

2.Encourage everyone to sit in a circle.

3.Pick one player to go first.

4.They are to read one of their cards. For example, “I have Breathing. Who has Exercise?”

5.The next person who has the Exercise card reads their card and so forth.

6.Play continues until all of the cards are read.

7.If you want to make this more challenging, you can time the game and see if you can break your own record!

Simply cut, laminate and keep these cards for a long time! There are a total of 20 cards.

This pack includes 26 scavenger hunt cards and a printable answer sheet allowing students to record up to twelve answers.

The purpose of this scavenger hunt is to familiarize the students with the library, using the alphabet. This set of cards will also familiarize your students with using your library search tool. This resource is not specific to fiction or nonfiction.

This pack includes 36 scavenger hunt cards and a printable answer sheet allowing students to record up to twelve answers.

This is a great way to introduce/remind students of the different parts of the library. You may also wish to do this as a challenge, having one student choose a card and find the book - record how long it took them, and make this the “time to beat” for following visits.

A simple but effective activity that gets students engaged in locating information within their library.

How to use:

* Print, laminate and cut each card.

* You have the option of having students write their answers on the printable (included), a mini whiteboard, having them physically bring the book to you OR if you have the technology, use tablets/smartphones and have students take pictures of their answers.
