There is also an outline sheet included for students to use in order to help them organize their essay. Plus a rubric for easy grading of final essay. Citing evidence is an important skill that students MUST master to demonstrate credibility, proficiency, and sense of eloquence. This resource includes four rubrics that capture students’ level of mastery when using evidence. These rubrics evaluate students’ abilities to support their ideas, inferences, claims, and/or responses with relevant text evidence. It also evaluates the strength and thoroughness of their explanations/analysis of evidence.
All 8 Rubric pages are EDITABLE for you to adjust and modify to meet your needs!
The four rubrics come in two different variations (totaling 8 rubrics):
✅ Variation #1: The FOUR rubrics are created individually on one page and includes a “Comments/Feedback” section for you to complete.
✅ Variation #2: The same FOUR rubrics are minimized to two (of the same rubric) on one page without the “Comments/Feedback” section.
Please note, the editable version does not contain the same fonts and borders that are in the PDF version because they are copyrighted materials by contributing clip art artists.
