Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. Your students will practice matching the number value to the written value, practicing writing the written value, as well as cutting and pasting the correct currency to the item.

The students will practice writing the dollar amount as well as cut and paste the correct number of dollars to the item shown. Remedial skills, introduction to currency, as well as functional math time are great ways to incorporate these worksheets. These worksheets are in both color and black and white.

This code breaker activity will help your students to master quadratic equations. Students must solve 20 equations in order to figure out how to open a safe.

A printable version of the equations is also included.

This is a Google Form activity. There are no links to outside websites. The four parts are set with answer validation: students cannot move to the next part until they solve all the equations.

You can use it as:

★ additional materials for remediation

★ a reward or “Fun Friday” activity

★ before the busy holiday break

★ an emergency sub lesson plan

The pixel art digital activity and the printable one contain the same questions (in the printable one two have the same answers, so are redundant, but in this way both versions are identical).
