Each Primary Source Analysis and DBQ resource gives students a chance to delve deeper into life of women during the Colonial Era (1607-1763), the Revolutionary Era (1763-1783), the Early Women's Rights Movement (1840-1865), the Civil War (1861-1865), the Industrial Revolution (1865-1920), and the Women's Rights Movement (1865-1920) Through reading, review and analysis of sources, students will be able to determine what issues and challenges faced women during each era and how they contributed to society.

Along with primary sources, there are Document-Based Questions (DBQs). Examples of primary sources include cartoons, diary and journal excerpts, indenture contracts, political cartoons, letters, and more. Each page of primary sources includes questions. Each resource includes two DBQ prompts which help students to weigh and evaluate the significance of women's actions, thoughts and contributions during the era.

A page near the end of each resource allows students to apply the HAPPY process to one source. An Answer Key to all the questions and the DBQs and the HAPPY process is available at the end of the packet.

This is excellent practice for all high school students, particularly Honors and AP students, but all students will find these resources engaging.

Students can read this on their own as a homework assignment or it can be a group activity in a classroom. It is also ideally suited for home-schoolers, college students or independent learners who want to learn more. Teachers can assign just a few sources to analyze or the entire packet. Student time will vary. A Worksheet with questions based on the reading is included, along with an Answer Key. Each resource can take up to 2-3 class periods depending on whether they complete the entire packet or just complete portions of it.

In these products, students will learn the following English words for the following parts of speech: 146 nouns, 33 pronouns, 126 adjectives, 110 verbs, 74 adverbs, 44 prepositions, 42 conjunctions, 20 interjections, and 44 contractions.

These product can be used with students who are learning English. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.

In the first section of the nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, and contractions products, students will learn the English word for each given word. Students will be required to write the word in their native language if a first language has previously been mastered.

In the second section of the nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, and contractions products, students will be required to write each given word in English. At the end of this section, students will be required to make up 10 - 20 sentences using the nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, and contractions that were learned. • In the second task, students must order the plot events of Clement Clarke Moore's famous poem, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, on Freytag's Pyramid. Once solved, corresponding letters reveal the second code.
• In the third task, students will read 8 fun facts about Christmas and must identify the parts of speech of underlined words within the passages. When matched correctly, shaded boxes will reveal the third code.
• In the fourth task, students must correct commonly confused words (like except and accept) in passages about how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Once complete, they must unscramble shaded boxes to reveal the fourth code.

Hanukkah Kwanzaa Christmas Diwali ESCAPE ROOM: Your students are stuck in your classroom and cannot leave for vacation until they solve 5 challenging Language Arts skills-based tasks about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Christmas around the world.

• In the first task, students must read fun facts about Diwali, each demonstrating 1 of 6 comma rules. Students must match the fact with the comma rule. The code is revealed when cards are matched correctly.
• In the second task, students must perform a close reading of Hanukkah Lights by Philip M. Raskin (1880-1944) and answer multiple choice questions about the selection that when correct, reveal the code.
