But you can do so much more than just watch the videos - why not use them to enhance reading, writing and vocabulary skills? This item has activities for level 2 and up. The following activities are included:

• A plot synopsis in French, in the present tense with comprehension questions in English.
• A plot synopsis in French, in the past tense (passé composé, imparfait, and any others as grammatically required) with comprehension questions in French.
• A copy of the plot synopsis in the present tense with an activity to rewrite the paragraph in the past tense.
• A post-reading activity page - fill in the blank with missing words and a word bank, put the events in the correct order (in English), match the item with the photo.
• A post-reading activity page - fill in the blank with missing words and no word bank, put the events in the correct order (in French), match the item with the photo.
• An activity about the café in the video in which students will visit the café website and read the menu as well as a reading activity with short reviews of the café.

These Activities to accompany French Duolingo Podcast Episode 78: L'art de la Crêpe will help your students with their listening comprehension skills while also entertaining them.

Each podcast is in both English and French - so even novice-high students can enjoy the stories. The podcasts are approximately 24 minutes long and are available for free on the Duolingo podcast site. This set of activities it meant to accompany episode 78, which tells the story of a man who made the perfect crêpe into his life's passion.

The activities include both pre- and post-listening activities. To prepare your students to listen to the podcast, you will find:

• vocabulary list
• vocabulary matching activity
• links to vocabulary set on Gimkit, Blooket and Quizlet so students can practice
• a crossword puzzle to practice the vocabulary

During the podcast, students can take notes on the sheet provided in the activity if you wish them to do so.

After listening, students can do the comprehension questions. There is a set of 1o questions, in both English and French to check for understanding. There is also a page of 10 true and false questions and 10 fill in the blank questions in French.
