12th Grade French Worksheets

This is a FREE activity to accompany a French TV commercial - any French TV commercial! 

Choose a commercial that you think is cute, funny, interesting, or that students will be able to understand and assign the worksheet.  Students will determine the answers to basic and some more advanced questions about the commercial. Questions include finding information about the product, the target customer, where to find more information, the price, method of selling, and whether or not you would buy the product.

There are three different versions of the activity - use the one that matches your students' level of ability with the language.

• Level 1 - all questions are in English.  
• Level 2 - all questions are in French, most of them are check the box type questions with descriptive vocabulary and two open ended questions
• Level 3 - all questions are in French, all open-ended for students who are able to write in French.

You can use this activity again and again, choosing whatever TV commercials you like!

These Activities to accompany French Duolingo Podcast Episode 98: The Secret Life of Josephine Baker - Josephine, le cible will help your students with their listening comprehension skills while also entertaining them.

Each podcast is in both English and French - so even novice-high students can enjoy the stories. The podcasts are approximately 24 minutes long and are available for free on the Duolingo podcast site. This set of activities it meant to accompany episode 98, which is the story of Josephine Baker's experience as World War 2 looms in Europe.

NOTE: Josephine Baker sang at a cabaret and performed in various stages of undress. Some of these things are mentioned in the episodes. Please read the transcript of the podcast at the link above before purchasing if you aren't sure if these episodes will be suitable for your school or students.
