In this graph matching activity there are two sets of questions with graphs and equations of linear functions.

In each one there are 9 graphs and one blank grid. There are 9 equations.

Students have to match each equation to each graph.

There is one graph without an equation - students need to work it out.

There is also one equation without a graph - students need to draw it on the blank axes

This is a review activity of conditional statements and conjecture vocabulary. These definitions are for a high school geometry class. This "I have, who has" activity is a great activity for small classes of lower level to on level students.

Do you need a fun activity for students to practice solving quadratics by using the square root? This print and go handout has 16 problems. There are letters under each problem. Students will transfer the letters from the top to the corresponding answers on the bottom to create a 'Weird Fact'. (The weird fact for this worksheet is "Australia is wider than the moon". A modified version is included for differentiation.

An activity to discover the properties of the graphs of sine and cosine. Print off the circle and horizontal axis for each student. Enlarge to A3 if you want to make a display afterwards. You just need to provide some spaghetti and glue.

This is great for teaching trigonometry for angles greater than 90 and visualising the shape of the sine and cosine curves. My students particularly enjoy this one and hope yours do to.
