Students will watch an episode of their favorite anime and analyze for setting, conflict, theme, mood, and symbolism. This BINGO card is a great ice breaker for the first days of French class! Each student receives a card and then moves around the classroom meeting new people and asking questions in English to get to know them better. When they find someone who can say "Oui" to a box, they will cross it off and write that person's name on it. The first person to get a BINGO reads their card out loud so the class can get to know their new friends as well!

This activity is designed for students with no previous French knowledge (MS French, Intro to Languages, Foundations of French, and French I), but my returning French 2 students loved it as well.

⭐ *Part 2: *The second section of the Anticipation Guide prompts students to choose a statement from the list above and delve into its significance to them. They may reflect on how the statement connects to their own lives, share a personal experience related to it, or elaborate on their thoughts concerning its importance in greater detail.

**▶️ Variation #2: **This Anticipation Guide worksheet format includes a list of statements accompanied by columns for "AGREE," "DISAGREE," and "COMMENTS." SELF-ASSESSMENT

This resource includes a single Body Language Self-Assessment. Students will use the body language - related statements to reflect on their understanding of nonverbal communication, evaluate their ability to interpret and respect others’ cues, and identify areas where they can improve. They will score the statements using the following scale: 2 for “Regularly,” 1 for “Occasionally,” and 0 for “Never.” They will use this self-assessment as a tool to help them identify areas for growth and improvement in their ability to read, interpret, and use body language effectively in everyday interactions.

The first is a pack of six worksheets by LittleStreams the first four are of increasing difficulty drawing pie charts from tables and another two worksheets of increasingly difficulty drawing pie charts from bar charts. Solutions are provided for each worksheet. The second pack in this free download is a treasure hunt on reading and interpreting pie charts, it is differientated to three levels were the green (hardest) level is suitable for GCSE Higher. This primary source worksheet features a passage written by Elizabeth Cady Stanton in Eighty Years and More in which explains why she and Lucretia Mott decided the time had come to organize the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 which ushered in the Women's Rights Movement in the United States. Students will enjoy learning about the motivations behind the creation of the convention. Two questions follow the Guided Reading.

On the second page, the passage is enhanced with Meanings and Definitions in order to facilitate and improve understanding. A Differentiated Learning Option is also available for students.

The third page includes Background Information and an Answer Key. This is excellent practice in Primary Source Analysis and in identifying author perspective.
