Distance learners can complete this via a Google Doc or by doing the auto-graded goformative version. Students who prefer paper copies can have a print-out! Another benefit to the goformative version is that students can see the article side by side with the questions, and the questions are embedded just where they can find the answer! It's a great scaffold for students still developing their reading comprehension skills!
This article is good for students who are ready for a challenge and/or who like science. It's a little longer than the other article I posted for this unit, but the embedded questions make this accessible for students!
