You can use this already prepared for you, Thanksgiving bingo whether in your large classroom or in your homeschool family. Each bingo cards has Thanksgiving themed images that you call out to students until they fill spaces up to win. This making it a fun and enjoyable way to celebrate the holiday together and a great option for Preschool to third grade groups.

30 bingo cards are included so that a large class or small homeschool family can enjoy the game. Images on the cards are used to share something that is familiar for the holiday to make it easier for everyone to find them. Making this a fun hands on way of learning.

How to Use:

Just print all the cards and calling cards out and then laminate. When playing you will need to make sure that each student has enough objects to place on top of images that are called.

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Insect Jar Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. For this assignment, I asked the students to create a couple sketches of what their insect jar would look like. Next, I asked the students to re-draw their sketch on a Final Copy paper and outline it with a black sharpie marker. Students spent 1-2 class periods coloring (w/colored pencils) the insects and other objects inside their jar, plus, the background around the jar. Students used a transparent blue watercolor to paint the inside of their insect jar. All finished! I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

Measurements and Math was a strong focus of the lesson. Next, students spent the rest of the first lesson brainstorming an idea for a stencil (¼ of their full Mandala Design. I taught the students how to rotate their stencil to get a Radial Design. Students started on their Final Copy paper and outlined their drawing in sharpie marker. We used large windows to trace our stencils on the final. Students used colored pencils, colored sharpies, or watercolor paint to color their Mandala Design. I hope you and your kiddos love this! For this assignment, I asked the students to create two separate artworks: a drawing (colored in), and a collage artwork. Students spent two days drawing and coloring a flowerpot artwork. Students spent another two days creating a flowerpot collage artwork that showed similarities in color and patterns used to their drawing artwork. For this assignment, I asked students to use their pointer finger (no paint brush) to create the flower pedals. Students filled the paper with fingerprint flowers for one class period.
