By K3 Homeschool Foundations
It is important for your child to gain confidence when learning to read! They need to practice reading stories with the phonetic pattern they are learning! These decodable readers are perfect to work on sounds, reading digraphs, reading high-frequency words, and stories with digraphs. I have a scaffolded option that includes the sounds, words, and high-frequency words in isolation that they will see in the story! When they are done reading the story you can work on comprehension with a few quick questions about the story! Tip-you could have them highlight all of the words with digraphs in the passage and have them read those in isolation before reading the whole story!
Included:
5 digraph-specific passages (scaffolded and regular) (th, sh, ch, wh, ck)
5 mixed digraph passages (scaffolded and regular) (th, sh, ch, wh, ck)
*All of the words use a short vowel
By K3 Homeschool Foundations
When learning to read children must be taught patterns systematically and explicitly. After they are taught a pattern like blends they should read and spell words with that pattern in isolation and then read stories with the pattern!
These books help your child practice reading digraphs and high-frequency words in a fun and engaging story! Read the back of the book to engage them in the story. It has a question so that they can read to find the answer!
These books will help your little one feel confident in their reading and feel just like a big kid because they can read their very own book!
These books cover:
sh
ch
th
ck
4 books in total
*Because there are very few words for wh that have a short vowel I didn't make a book specifically for wh. Instead, I put words throughout all the books with the digraph wh.
These books are very little prep! Print, staple, READ!

CVC Decodable Passages/Comprehension
By K3 Homeschool Foundations
Early readers need to read text that is decodable! If your child is working on reading CVC words and high-frequency words these passages are perfect! When they read a decodable reader it gives them confidence in reading stories and it helps them practice the phonics skill they are working on! These decodable passages have two options. Most districts will not allow someone outside of your district to share files with students. Some districts DO NOT allow audio that originated out of the district. If the link is not working for you please email me at TeachingWithCoffeeAndMascara@gmail.com so that I can send you the direct files.
This is not a zip file but instead a file in Google. You will need to have a google account to open this file. Inside you will find all of the items in either a pdf format or a google slide. TeachShare does NOT allow me to use subfolders to organize the items for you, please read the READ ME FIRST file to help you know what all is included in your download.
