The graphic novel, Allergic - The Graphic Novel by Megan Wagner Lloyd and Michelle Mee Mutter is great for children ages 9 - 15 years old, as they can relate with the characters. This is a book about friendship, getting along with siblings, developing interests, finding oneself, accepting change, starting a new school, being a good friend, being different from others and embracing those differences, being allergic to something and how it makes you different and accepting that difference.
