This is a 2 page worksheet to print and hand to your students. While you read Would You Rather be a Bullfrog? by Theo LeSieg.

Tell you students something along the lines of:

"I'm going to read you a fun story. You need to think about each question comparing 2-3 nouns. A Noun is a person, place, thing, or idea. You wont tell me out loud which one you would rather be you are going to use your pencil to circle your choice. This is a great way to practice writing while listening."

The idea behind this worksheet is to allow students to:

  • interact with the story that is quiet
  • encourages decision making.
  • allows students to start practicing skills for note taking.
