This Math Skills Next Dollar Up Task Box Matching Set - Canadian Money Version gives students in Autism, Special Education, and Primary K-2 Classrooms practice with IEP goals and math skills in rounding money amounts to the next dollar. This supports students as they work toward being able to count money amounts and make change.

This set provides 2 types of task box matching activities for students to practice counting from one to ten (1-10) and matching numbers to corresponding images of the same number. Each activity has a prompt and no prompt version for all levels of learners in your classroom.

I personally use these texts with Grade 1 and Grade 2 students in French Immersion. I feel confident that students from Kindergarten to Grade Three will find these most useful and teachers can come back to the texts with any students who may be experiencing challenges in their French reading skills. Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to read and write at the Junior level.

Brick Building letters activity for Upper and Lowercase Letters

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letters with bricks, coloring the block letter, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.

Building letters with building bricks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Students don’t have to use a pencil for writing, try broken crayons (broken crayons help promote tripod grasp pattern), q-tip painting, or fingerpaint. When writing letters for this activity, students use handwriting letter boxes to help with letter size, placement, and spacing. Perfect for pre-K and kindergarten centers, as well as OT groups, homeschool, and handwriting practice
