LET’S KEEP IT REAL, HERE! In today’s day in age and teen culture, teenage dating and romantic relationships are all TOO COMMON – I know you agree! Educators and other adults can’t really tell high school students, teens, and young adults not to date or have romantic relationships with boys and girls they like – like seriously! If they like someone, they are making moves! Temptation is everywhere! Additionally, this is the stage where high school students go through puberty, changes in mind, body, emotions, and behavior, and most importantly, self-realizations. Also included is a 4-page LIST OF SCENARIOS to allow easier access for teachers to read and select scenarios to work with. It’s like an overview page of the scenarios listed in the Task Cards!

How/When To Use the Scenario Task Cards

• Role-Playing: Students can collaborate in pairs or groups to act out a variety of scenarios and demonstrate appropriate responses. Role-playing activities can also be used to show how skills are used improperly and then asking the 'audience' to help reenact properly. This activity can ultimately improve confidence, communication, and assertiveness skills.
• Icebreaker: This can be a great way to start a meeting, training session, or team-building activity. It’s also a great way to get students to get to know each other and buy into the purpose of an upcoming activity or lesson.
• Play Writing Exercise: Students can work in groups to create skits or scenes then perform the skit for the class.
• Writing Response: Students can be given a scenario to read and then write their responses. Students can switch papers with a partner who then reads their responses and determines whether they agree/disagree with their responses/approaches to these real-life scenarios.
• Discussion: Students can discuss the Scenario Task Cards in groups or whole class. They can discuss things like “How would you handle this situation?” “Why would you handle it in this manner?" and “What are some other options you could consider?”

How/When To Use Scenario Task Cards

• Role-Playing: Students can collaborate in pairs or groups to act out a variety of scenarios and demonstrate appropriate responses. This activity can ultimately improve confidence, communication, and assertiveness skills.

• Icebreaker: This can be a great way to start a meeting, training session, or team-building activity. It’s also a great way to get students to get to know each other and buy into the purpose of an upcoming activity or lesson.

• Play Writing Exercise: Students can work in groups to create skits or scenes then perform the skit for the class.

• Writing Response: Students can be given a scenario to read and then write their responses. Students can switch papers with a partner who then reads their responses and determines whether they agree/disagree with their responses/approaches to these real-life scenarios.

• Discussion: Students can discuss the Social Scenario Task Cards in groups or whole class. They can discuss things like “What would you do?”, “Why would you do that?”, and “What are some other options you could consider?”

Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. This BUNDLE provides your students additional support identifying money, matching dollar amounts to currency and make purchases using the "next dollar up" method with 3 levels of digital practice with progressively harder tasks. Students will begin with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is in US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of digital learning with 10 cards per level!

******PLUS for your emerging money learners, your students will have access to printable worksheets where they will practice matching the number value to the written value, practicing writing the written value, as well as cutting and pasting the correct currency to the item.
