After diving for a pearl to pay for the bill, Kino finds the "Pearl of the World" - an extremely large pearl that the entire village wants; everyone wants this pearl - everyone. Now, the cat and mouse chase has begun! What will Kino do to protect his family?

This 6th - 12th grade canonized work allows students to look into ourselves as wealth changes us and brings out our evil nature.
