Directions

Rolling the Die:

• Students roll a six-sided die to determine which sentence they will read.
• Students can also scan the QR code on the worksheet using a device with a QR code scanner to access a virtual dice roller.

Reading the Sentence:

• Students match the number rolled with the corresponding sentence on their worksheet.
• Students read the sentence out loud clearly and fluently.
• Students should focus on pronouncing each word correctly and using appropriate expressions.

Marking Progress:

• Once students read a sentence, they should highlight or color the box. They could also cover it with a counter or place marker etc.
• If students roll a number they have already completed, they should roll again until they land on a new sentence.
• Students continue rolling and reading until they have completed all the sentences on their worksheets.

This ocean themed letter and number seek and find activity makes a great hands on literacy or math center for the preschool or kindergarten classroom. Students will have fun tracing letters and finding numbers with these fish themed letter recognition and number recognition matching mats. These mats also work with a pond or pet theme. This letter T flip book is a fun and easy way to practice letter recognition, letter formation, and beginning sounds all in one booklet! This easy to make flip book gives students a variety of ways to practice learning about the letter T.

• Find and Color: Color or dab the letter from among other letters.
• Cut and Paste: Either use the letters at the bottom of the page, or find letters in magazines or other kinds of print to paste on this page.

The activities in this flip book progress from easy letter recognition to letter formation and then finally to the sound the letter makes.
