Next to each picture is a “Bubble Letter Box” that contains 6 letters. Students have to determine which three of those letters make up the word of the pictures. They will color in the correct letters they hear when they say the word, then write the picture word on the writing line - FUN and CHALLENGING!

The directions ask students to look at the picture, say the word, color the sounds they hear when they say the word, and then write the word on the writing line. These worksheets are completely differentiated!

Each packet includes the following forms of differentiation:

Worksheet #1: No assistance. No letter has been provided for students. Students look at the picture, say the word, and select, color, and write the three letters from the “Bubble Letter Box” on the writing line. This worksheet is intended to challenge Higher Level students.

For this assignment, I asked students to get with a partner or into small groups and brainstorm subject matter, orientation, and theme of the overall composition. Plus, decide which group member(s) will be in charge of what to draw and where to draw it. Students will need to sketch out ideas first inside a sketchbook, transfer the sketches to Final Copy Paper, outline the large image, and start coloring in everything with crayon. Looking for a way to increase student engagement and bring fun and excitement to your alphabet activities as students learn their letters and letter sounds? Well here is a low prep set of alphabet letter sound song posters and color sheets for your alphabet activities in your classroom.

Just print and laminate. Each letter has a song poster with words that start with that letter as well as a matching color sheet for each poster. These songs are sung to the tune of The Farmer and the Dell. These can be used for letter identification practice as well as letter sound recognition. These can be used for whole group instruction, distant learning, and homeschooling.

This resource includes 50 of the year certificates for students that focus on positive character traits, academic strengths, unique skills, and celebrating a students fun/creative side! Each certificate has a cute, catchy title specific to a character trait. Depending on your class size, students could receive multiple certificates.

These awards are great because they praise positive character traits that we as teachers promote and praise daily. Many of these certificates focus on attributes that students can control versus success within specific academic subjects which can can be disheartening for students that struggle with academic tasks or have learning disabilities. This includes certificates that praise students for a variety of things to makes sure that all students feel included in their classroom community and special. This resource is great for students in special education classrooms as well.

What is dramatic play?
