Engage students with a fun Letter Q Write the Room activity, where they find, identify, and record objects starting with the letter Q! Ideal for young learners practicing letter recognition.
Contents:
This Letter Q Write the Room Activity includes 12 images that begin with the letter Q, such as "quilt" and "queen." Students will find these images spread around the classroom and use one of the four recording sheets to track their discoveries. Two recording sheets are designed with images for early learners, while two feature primary lines for writing practice. The set also includes word walls in two forms—cut-out strips for notebooks or the classroom and a poster with images and their names. A glossary of words provides simple definitions, and a writing prompt encourages students to share their favorite letter Q word.
How the Product is Used:
To begin, teachers print the materials on 8.5x11 sheets in either color or black and white. After cutting out the cards, they hide them around the room for students to find. As students spot the letter Q images, they write them down using one of the included recording sheets. Teachers can use the word walls to reinforce vocabulary, while the glossary provides definitions for unfamiliar words. The final writing prompt lets students reflect on and choose their favorite letter Q word, helping to extend their understanding of the vocabulary.
Why You’ll Love This Product:
Teachers will appreciate the interactive, engaging approach to letter recognition and vocabulary development. The variety of recording sheets ensures this product can be adapted to different learning levels, while the word walls and glossary support word learning in multiple ways. Low-prep and versatile, this activity offers a creative way to reinforce letter Q learning, keeping students active and engaged. Kids will love the fun of hunting for hidden images and sharing their discoveries with classmates.

French reading comprehension Pandas - Print and digital bundle

This French reading comprehension activity will teach your students about the giant panda and the issues challenging it. It is suitable for novice-high/intermediate-low students with teacher guidance and higher level students to work independently. If you teach AP French, this reading can be useful in giving your students practice reading non-fiction articles for the interpretive section of the test. The reading can lead to discussion or writing activities to include the other two modes of communication.
The giant panda is a beloved and easily recognized animal, but it faces some challenges. It is an endangered species and efforts have been made to protect it - but is it really the best idea to spend so much effort to save an animal that doesn't seem to want to save itself?

ABOUT THIS RESOURCE
★ Text: We Beat The Street
★ Chapter 5 Questions
★ 16 pages
★ Print and Digital
★ Detailed Answer Key included
This resource includes:
★ 1 Inference-Based Question "combo" Worksheet (contains all 5 questions together)
★ 5 Inference-based Question Worksheets (on a separate worksheet)
★ 5 Bulletin Board Task Display Pages (for each question worksheet)
★ 1 Scoring Rubric
★ 1 Blank Worksheet (for you to generate your own question!)
★ ANSWER KEY (very detailed!)
This resource focuses on CHAPTER 5 of We Beat The Street and features 5 inference-based questions that require students to demonstrate inferential thinking and a deep analysis of the chapter - beyond literal comprehension. Each inference-based question can be treated as an extended response where students must make inferences and support their responses, ideas, and/or analysis with evidence from the text.
► There is a "combo" worksheet, which includes all five questions on two pages. There are also 5 separate worksheets that include the same questions on a different worksheet. This allows for more extensive responses. You can have students either complete all five inference-based questions on the "combo" worksheet all at once OR you can have students complete each of the questions at different times: for classwork, independent practice, homework, or formative assessment - your choice! You can even give students different questions depending on their levels - excellent for differentiation.
► I also included a blank worksheet for you to generate your own question and students write it in the box!
► A detailed ANSWER KEY for the questions have been included. The ideas and evidence in the Answer Keys are accompanied by page numbers to help you facilitate discussion more smoothly and navigate to important ideas and events without looking for the information in the book. The Answer Keys are so comprehensive that you can even develop additional questions that will encourage students to engage in productive classroom talk!
► A 2-Point rubric is included for scoring with a section for comments and feedback at the bottom. Finally, there are five visually appealing Bulletin Board Task Display Pages to display with student work. The Bulletin Board Task Display Pages are personalized for each question worksheet! You have everything you need to score these assignments and display on bulletin boards immediately upon completion. It's a great way to showcase student work!
► This resource is also included in Google Slides! Text boxes have already been created to make it easier for you and your students! Each slide includes two instruction solution tabs for when students accidentally delete text boxes and when they want to zoom in (to enlarge worksheets). It's super helpful for students who are not that familiar with how to use Google Slides or need the extra assistance.

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Mandala Design artwork was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I did a demo and taught the class how to use a ruler and a yardstick. Measurements and Math was a strong focus of the lesson. Next, students spent the rest of the first lesson brainstorming an idea for a stencil (¼ of their full Mandala Design. I taught the students how to rotate their stencil to get a Radial Design. Students started on their Final Copy paper and outlined their drawing in sharpie marker. We used large windows to trace our stencils on the final. Students used colored pencils, colored sharpies, or watercolor paint to color their Mandala Design. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

United States Constitution Scavenger Hunt (No Prep!)
By Miss Yous Clues and Resources
This is a scavenger hunt using task cards that analyzes the creation of the Constitution, challenges in ratifying it between the colonies, the struggles of the Articles of Confederation and key players in this whole process which is studied in the 7th grade curriculum under the following standards:
This resource begins by challenging students with a mission, complete the tasks to solve the mystery word and four digit code to help the founding fathers ratify the Constitution; failure will result in the colonies remaining under the weak Articles of Confederation. Check out the preview to see what each task card entails. Students will need to walk around the room reading the task cards. Each task card has a code word on the bottom which is the answer to the question/fill in the blank. The answer will NOT be found on that same task card. For example, the answer to task card #1 is found by reading the passage on task card #8. Students MUST record which task card they found the answer on in their answer sheet under the “FOUND CARDS #” column. That column will be used at the end for the 4 digit lock code. They will follow the clues to find the correct 4 digit code. Once they have completed the scavenger hunt they will receive a half sheet of paper stating that they have helped the founding fathers ratify the Constitution!
This activity would be a great review before assessments, as a center activity, a group activity, etc. Students will be engaged with the learning while having a fun time trying to solve all of the clues!

Board Visual Schedule for High School Special Education & Autism Editable
By Exceptional Education CA
This Bulletin Board Visual Schedule Set can be used with your whole class or for each individual student in your classroom. Having a daily visual schedule up on the board for students to refer to can be a great strategy to help increase predictability in a student’s day and reduce anxiety.
This Visual Schedule Board set will allow you to have a daily classroom agenda for individual students or your whole class to refer to throughout the day.
If you are teaching in a classroom where students are following different schedules throughout the day, this set is perfect for creating individual visual schedules for each student. I will usually section off a portion of one of my boards in columns large enough to fit the board labels, making sure there is one column for each student. From there, I will have each student’s name at the top, and then their individual schedule below their name.
There is also a “set schedule” label, which prompts students to use the large schedule on the board to follow as they set their own personal visual schedule for the day. (Check out my Visual Schedule set for personal visual schedule options!). This increases independence for students as they manage their own individual schedule for the day.
There are also editable name and subject labels so that you can personalize and individualize schedules for your classroom and your students.
The Board Visual Schedule Set includes:
Each page in this set can be printed and laminated for added durability. Black & White Options can be printed on color paper or cardstock to match your classroom decor.

Spanish Collaborative Writing & Reading Activities: Teen Life
By Specialty Spanish
Looking for ways to make writing fun for your Spanish students? If you need differentiated and engaging activities to help students level up their presentational writing and reading comprehension, this is the resource for you! Students will write together in groups, help each other by doing a peer edit, and later read and answer questions about the characters they have created.
Step 1: Students pretend they are the teacher, and need to leave detailed notes about the students in their class for a substitute. In groups, students follow the specific instructions to describe each student. Each group will get 4 writing sheets which contain a picture of a student and space to write. There are 20 different students in all. The instructions ask student to describe each person. What are they like? What do they like to do? What are their future plans? What’s important to them? Do you have fast finishers? No problem- there’s an extension activity for them! They can help you create questions about what they wrote that will be used in step 3!
Step 2: After taking a quick glance at their work, set students up in pairs. I usually do this the next day. They will trade papers and use the peer edit instruction sheet to suggest ways to improve their writing.
Step 3: Another day, hang the descriptions around the room. Create simple questions for students to answer while they read around the room! *This works great as a quick review for a quiz! Students love it because they are allowed to be out of their seats!
Differentiation:
-This resource comes with differentiated instructions appropriate for Year 3, or Intermediate Low.
-Students can use new vocabulary along with things they already know how to say to create connected sentences, and attempt to use more than one time frame.
-To level this down, change the instructions to include topics students know how to talk about.
-To level this up, change the instructions to ask for more details and require other times frames.
