Use this activity to sequence the events in There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Turkey. Each event is pictured on a turkey feather that, when completed, creates an adorable turkey that sequences the story. Print on cardstock to make it more durable or mat it on a large piece of construction paper. Students will color and cut out the turkey feathers and body, glue them together, and have a great "craftivity" that tells what happens in this adorable book.

This preschool ball unit will give preschoolers a fun and engaging way to learn about different sports and the balls they use, as well as to learn about the letter B. These ball preschool lesson plans contain a variety of activities that cover the alphabet, beginning sounds, preschool math skills, science, art, and so much more!

Students will identify and express a variety of feelings, demonstrate the use of I-messages to express feelings honestly and effectively, and identify the words that are commonly used in I-messages. an I-message/statements sheet for students to fill out is included in this product, and a list of coping skills is provided to share with students. Students are also able to add onto the list provided. A coping skill bookmark template is included for students to draw/write down coping skills on a bookmark that they can look at in times of feeling stressed/upset. Building trust activity ideas are provided in this product for students to build trust with others they know well, tips for students to interact with school counselors, social workers, and school psychologists are also included in this product. Students will learn who to trust and how they can trust them. Students are also provided with the opportunity to draw who they trust or write down their names as well

Welcome to our Goodnight Moon Scrappy Story Quilt coloring activity! Bring the beloved children's book to life with this fun and interactive crafting project.

After reading the story Goodnight Moon, students will create a Goodnight Moon Scrappy Story Quilt.

Scrappy Patchwork Quilts

A scrappy quilt uses a variety of different fabrics that may or may not use a consistent theme. In this new version of cut and paste, students will make a scrappy quilt using a variety of pattern blocks included in the activity. The students must complete a set of questions or activities to know what numbered pattern to use and where it should be placed on their quilt. Each quilt has its own color scheme (color chart) and those are the colors students will need to create a one-of-a-kind scrappy quilt. Each quilt comes with a header, and some have additional activities students must complete to finish their quilts. Each quilt once assembled with header is 11x14 inches (does not include the size if a quilt has an additional activity).

When it comes time to discuss timbre, instrument families, ranges, and the alike, you need instant samples of instruments. I used to do it the old way -- finding a specific piece of music, cueing it up in the CD player or mp3, and implement it in my lesson. It took a lot of time and extra preparation on my part to find those clips and segment them for my class... Here's the solution -- Band and Orchestra Instrument Samples. Included are 25 REAL sampled instruments, all the way from the Piccolo down to the Marimba. Teachers Helping Teachers:

Vocabulary instruction is an important component of literacy instruction in preschool. It also provides children with an understanding of a variety of words which in turn can help with later reading comprehension. Vocabulary instruction is valuable as it builds the foundation for later reading skills, such as comprehension. A child needs to be taught vocabulary in many different ways.

Save the link and use it to do any or all of the following:

*Create Review flashcards to send home of the Early Learner words and the sentences tried out in class

*You can play games with them

*Share the link with parents- they can hit play in the car or at home to have the flashcards flip through and review items learned in class

*You can hit play to preview the terms and sentences or review them with your kiddos

*I LOVE doing repeat-after-me activities where the Quizlet reads it and then my kiddos repeat it.

*projecting onto your board, then sounding out the words together is key with the focus being on JUST the words and sentences without the busy pictures and activities around them.
