Part of our series of "discussions ciblées". This set is focuses on the topic of Education. You will find a list of 35 vocabulary words related to the Education theme and 35 discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. This resource is especially useful for your chapter on "Education". The Berenstain Bears and the Blame Game comprehension questions product is useful for students that read the book. The questions are placed in order with the book. Students can answer these questions as the book is read or after they have finished reading the book or listening to the book. While reading this book and answering these questions, students will learn about blaming siblings/friends for something they didn't do, how they felt if they were blamed for something they didn't do before, feeling discouraged or miserable, the expression - peeling back the layers of an onion and what it means, sequencing events, solving problems instead of blaming, steps that can be followed to solve problems and working together to solve a problems. Students can answer these short answer questions, yes/no questions, multiple choice questions, fill in the blank questions, and vocabulary/picture labeling questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and examples of the words used in sentences are presented. Students have the opportunity to use those words in sentences as well.

This is a 10-15 day CROSS CURRICULUM lesson! It includes tasks from Math, LA, Science, Art, Social Studies, and more! There are two different videos that I have included.

The scenario: we have to leave Earth because of pollution. Students are part of the New Beginnings Mission and they must settle a colony on a new planet. Tasks include map making, decimal multiplication, scale drawings, team building, geometric drawings, research, measurement conversions, and more. It is presented in PowerPoint format. The first slide is an overview. All worksheets are included as slides that can be printed. There are also instructions included in the notes section of each slide.

Vocabulary instruction is an important component of literacy instruction in preschool. It also provides children with an understanding of a variety of words which in turn can help with later reading comprehension. Vocabulary instruction is valuable as it builds the foundation for later reading skills, such as comprehension. A child needs to be taught vocabulary in many different ways.

*Create Review flashcards to send home of the Early Learner words and the sentences tried out in class

*You can play games with them

*Share the link with parents- they can hit play in the car or at home to have the flashcards flip through and review items learned in class

*You can hit play to preview the terms and sentences or review them with your kiddos

*I LOVE doing repeat-after-me activities where the Quizlet reads it and then my kiddos repeat it.

*projecting onto your board, then sounding out the words together is key with the focus being on JUST the words and sentences without the busy pictures and activities around them.
