-Fruit & Veggie Bingo Jr for Young Learners

This complete bingo set comes with bingo caller cards, card markers in two different designs, and 30 unique full-page bingo cards. This game is set up just like the regular bingo set except that the spaces are larger and there are fewer spaces on the bingo card so that younger students can follow along with the game. The two games work seamlessly together since they use the same bingo caller cards, so they are great for mixed age classrooms, after school care, homeschools, and more.

-Fruit and Vegetable Montessori Style 3-Part Cards

Each fruit and vegetable 3-part card comes with a control card that includes both the picture and name of the fruit/vegetable plus a two-part card, one with the picture and the other with the name, so that students can match them. These are a fun way to add manipulatives into your classroom or home!

These are ready to print, laminate and go! They come in both full color and black and white so that you can use the black and white version to include a coloring/fine motor component. Laminate a set of the color cards for classroom use, then give students a set of black and white cards to color, personalize, and take home for additional practice!

-Fruit & Vegetable Word & Letter Puzzles

Match the fruit or veggie to the word and letter in these puzzles! There are two styles of puzzles: one is a two piece puzzle with the picture of the produce one one side and the word for it on the other. The other style is a three piece puzzle with one piece showing the word, one piece showing the picture, and the other piece showing the beginning letter of the produce. There are a total of 82 puzzles featuring 18 fruits and 22 vegetables.

These are low prep and need to be laminated, but are full color and ready for literacy centers, early finishers, preschool centers and more. They are self-checking with different cuts in the middle that line up, but when I use them I draw a different shape on the back of each puzzle before laminating so that when they're matched, they can be flipped over to check for a complete shape.

-Fruit & Vegetable Memory Game w/ 3 versions

The classic game of memory with a fruit and veggie twist! 3 different versions provide several ways to play the game: one set of cards has pictures and words, one has just pictures, and one has just words. Mix and match to increase the difficulty of the game. For example, mix the picture only cards with the word only cards to have students match the word to the picture! Print cards on cardstock or laminate for durability.

Supplemental worksheets for literacy centers, math centers, early finishers, or just to use alongside a unit on nutrition.

Teach speech language therapy students or English language learners how to follow 2-step directions containing Before and After! These visual aids and teaching scripts provide a simple way to teach following 2-step directions with these temporal concepts, improving comprehension of multi-step directions.

The Before Beaver teaches students that any direction following the word "before" will come second. We teach this by showing students that anything in the Beaver's tail comes second, because the tail is the second part of its body.

The After Alligator teaches students that any direction following with word "after" will come first. We teach this by showing students that anything in the Alligator's mouth will come first, because the mouth is the first part of its body.

I would advice laminating and using velcro to make this into an activity that can be used again and again.

Many of our students with learning and attention issues have difficulty reading body language. Failure to pick up on non-verbal signals, including body language and gestures, can make it hard for students or children to navigate all sorts of social situations. Body language and gestures convey messages, meaning, and important information beyond what is said. This resource is intended to help students "read" body language and navigate social situations successfully. It is also intended to provide students with opportunities to practice social skills by reading and responding to people’s body languages and gestures in an appropriate, positive manner.

▶️ 12 Scenario Task Cards

The Scenario Task Cards contain highly relevant scenarios related to body language. Students are asked what the person's body language is communicating and what it indicates the person might be feeling.

There are 12 Scenario Task Cards that come in FOUR different variations:

▶️ 20 Picture Task Cards

• The Picture Task Cards contain highly relevant pictures of people using body language to communicate meaning and feelings. The body languages of the people in the task cards portray body gestures that students are familiar with and that they often see all around them in a variety of real-life social settings and situations. Students are asked what the person's body language is communicating, and what it indicates the person might be feeling.

There are 20 Picture Task Cards that come in 4 variations:

▶️ SCENARIO WORKSHEETS (Print and Digital)

12 Scenario Worksheets that come in 3 variations totaling 36 worksheets. ANSWER KEYS are included to help facilitate discussions. The scenarios in the worksheets are the same scenarios in the Task Cards.

► Worksheet Variation #1: Contains three questions about what a person's body language is communicating, what it indicates he or she might be feeling, and how you can best respond to the person in that situation. (This is a perfect opportunity for your students to practice social skills and empathy!)

► Worksheet Variation #2: Contains two questions about what would be an appropriate response in the situation presented, and what would be an inappropriate response in the situation presented. (Another great opportunity for your students to practice social skills and empathy!)

► Worksheet Variation #3: Contains the same scenarios with a blank space for you to generate your own question and students write it on the line and answer it.

▶️ PICTURE WORKSHEETS (Print and Digital)

20 Picture Worksheets that come in 2 variations (totaling 40 worksheets). There are 20 worksheets that contain the same pictures in the Picture Task Cards.

► Picture Worksheet Variation #1: Contains two questions about the message the person’s body language is sending, and how the person is feeling. In this worksheet, students have to provide evidence to support their answer about how the person in the picture might be feeling.

► Picture Worksheet Variation #2: A blank space is provided for you to generate your own question and students write it on the line and answer it.

This resource provides a perfect opportunity for your students to understand social cues, interpret body language, practice social skills, and make inferences. This resource features real life scenarios and highly relevant photographs of people. Students with autism spectrum disorders often have the most difficult time with these skills and can benefit greatly from the visuals.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

How/When To Use Scenario Task Cards

• Role-Playing: Students can collaborate in pairs or groups to act out a variety of scenarios and demonstrate appropriate responses. Role-playing activities can also be used to show how "response" skills are used improperly and then asking the 'audience' to help reenact properly. This activity can ultimately improve confidence, communication, and assertiveness skills and further help students understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate responses to people's body language and gestures.
• Play Writing Exercise: Students can work in groups to create skits or scenes related to body language then perform the skit for the class.
• Writing Response: Students can be given a scenario to read and then write their responses. Students can switch papers with a partner who then reads their responses and determines whether they agree/disagree with their responses/approaches to these real-life scenarios.
• Discussion: Students can discuss the Body Language / Non-verbal Communication Scenario Task Cards in groups or whole class. They can discuss things like “What would you do?”, “Why would you do that?”, and “What are some other options you could consider?”
