This is a fun way for your students to show what they know about place value. It would be an activity to do once they have finished the unit on place value or a way to practice place value. This hands-on activity lets students create their own house using base ten blocks and then create a street full of place value houses. For added challenge you can add in odd and even and have the students make one side of the street odd and the other even.
