The "Rae Dunn Inspired..." resource is designed as an engaging activity for an end-of-year open house project, aimed at prompting students to reflect on their experiences throughout the school year.

Each mug features a word students may relate to when thinking about the school year. The file come with blank mug where students can write a word of their choice and followed with their reflections and memories from the past academic year.

I needed a fun way to review vocabulary with my students. So I came up with this fun game called "What's the Word".

Students get an example sentence and then identify the part of speech as well as a good synonym for the vocabulary word.

Have them get out of their seats and go to the pink, green, or blue corner of the room. Or get out sticky notes, dry-erase boards, or anything else you might want to use.

Make this template your own and review vocabulary, sentence structures, interpunctuation, or other parts of the language.

Or turn it around and use it for some SEL building. Put questions of interest and let students use the majority vote on what they like best, then let them explain why! There are ENDLESS options!

This SEL lesson is versatile and can be used as a quick reference guide, a sort and match activity lesson, within individual or small group sessions or even as a whole class approach.

Laminate and glue this resource to a file folder for repeated use and longevity.

You will need scissors, glue and a file folder. Alternatively, you can assemble this resource using hook and loop adhesive dots.
