- Learners will then place their palms onto the page to stamp their handprint and create their new year's handprint project.

- Leave the pages up to dry completely before giving it back to your learners.

This is a fun activity, but can get rather messy, so make sure your learners are aware of what they are doing so it does not get out of control. Keeping only a couple of trays of paint for learners to dip their palms into would definitely help with reducing the mess.

Do you like to make class books with your students? This bundle includes New Year's Resolutions, Heart-themed books, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas books for your students to contribute to. These books come with primary and secondary lined paper. Have your students think, draw and write about a variety of topics. There are lots of book titles and different prompts to choose from. Assemble your book by choosing a color cover or a black and white cover to save on ink to laminate and put your book together. Welcome your students back from winter break with a fun array New Year themed Google Classroom assignment. First, there is a video reviewing arrays for students to watch. Students can then manipulate images on the slides to create an array and then type the multiplication equation that goes with the array.
