Adding Suffixes to Root Words Printable Worksheet Suffix 3rd Grade Bundle

These printable worksheets are designed to help grade 3 students practice spelling when adding suffixes to root words. Suffix practice for changing the y to i when adding -es, doubling the final consonant of 1-1-1 words, and dropping the final e when adding -ed or -ing.

Compound Words and Contractions Activity - Scavenger Hunt Worksheets Nouns

This is a packet of THREE scavenger hunt (write the room) activities. The first is classifying nouns as person, place or thing. The second is finding words that begin with each letter of the alphabet. The last is differentiating between contractions and compound words. Word cards are included which can be laminated and hung around the room. My students love using clipboards to walk around the room and find the words! I also added in a couple of FREEBIE interactive notebook pages on nouns and verbs.
