As students learn about the phases of the moon they can follow up with this drag and drop moon phase activity. It can easily be used with Google Classroom. This product also includes an explanation in kid-friendly language to describe the phases of the moon.
I also included an answer key or you could use this as a mini poster to discuss the phases of the moon.

Teach your students all about energy, force, gravity, and Newton's Laws of Motion with this fun Science Lab! Students will watch educational videos, go through detailed slides with vocabulary words and definitions, complete comprehension questions, and finish with a Science Lab that is GUARANTEED to make a MESS! Students will use rubber bands to make a watermelon EXPLODE!
This experiment will need to be conducted outside for safety purposes :)
You will need:
Rubber bands (at least 400-600 per watermelon)
A Medium sized Watermelon
Table or Flat Surface
Face Shields and/or Safety Goggles
2-3 people to put the rubber bands on
Timer
Optional:
Table Cloth (to keep your surface sticky free afterwards)
Bowl (super helpful in keeping the watermelon stationary)
Gloves (in case you break rubber bands to protect your hands)
Apron (to keep your clothes watermelon free)
