Autumn themed Color by CVC Word puzzles covering short a, e, i, o, and u word families. Each color by word puzzle features 4 CVC words for a vowel family in two difficulty levels for 10 puzzles total. I've included both a picture clue set and a word clue set. In the picture clue set, students look at the picture of the word and then find the corresponding word to color. In the word clue set, students have the CVC word to look at and find the matching word to color in the puzzle. No prep! Just print and go.
Words Included:
Short a - can, jam, pad, nap
Short e - web, leg, jet, gem
Short i - dip, rip, pig, wig
Short o - sob, cog, pot, top
Short u - sun, bug, sun, cup

Apple Orchard Color by CVC Word - Distance Learning

Apple Orchard Color by CVC Word puzzles covering short a, e, i, o, and u word families. Each color by word puzzle features 4 to 6 CVC words for a vowel family in two difficulty levels for 10 puzzles total. These fun apple orchard themed puzzles include an apple, an apple pie, an apple cider donut, a basket of apples, and apple cider.

Pumpkin Sight Word Game FREEBIE

Where is the black cat? This pumpkin themed sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.
What is Included:
The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts. (6 to a page coming soon)

How to Play:
Where's the Black Cat is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a cat is hidden behind a pumpkin. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the cat is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the cat is behind the pumpkin, then the cat must be hidden again to play further. If the cat is not behind the pumpkin, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

Where's the worm? Apple Number Recognition 1-100 Pocket Chart Game

This apple themed number recognition center is a great fall or autumn themed center for students who are practicing number or number word recognition. This game is for small group instruction or can be used as a whole class game.
Designed for the pocket chart, Where's the Worm? is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a worm is hidden behind an apple. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the number they think the worm is behind. Once guessed, the number is removed. If the worm is behind the apple, then the worm must be hidden again to play further. If the worm is not behind the apple, then the poem is chanted again and a new number is guessed. This game has numbers 1-100 as well as number words up to 20.

How to Use:
Students will look at the image on the card and use the candy corn letter tiles to build the CVC word on the card to match the image.
