What does this printable contain?

This domino bundle contains 33 dominoes with rhyming CVC words. Learners will match the dominoes based on rhyming. E.g. 'Cap' to 'map' and 'bat' to 'cat'.

How to use?

To play, print and laminate the pages for the topic required. In the printable there are two dominoes per page, which can be printed as is for a floor game. If you would like to make the dominoes smaller, print several pages a page (I normally print 8 dominoes onto a page, which allows for use on a table or as a small group activity).

Students will begin with the 'START' domino and then slowly work their way through the dominoes until they reach the domino with the 'END' on it. Dominoes can be matched in any way they like, whether that's vertically or horizontally.

Practice your students addition and subtraction facts with these simple and engaging task cards. This printable consists of 12 task cards for 'Write the Fact Family' math center. These are spring themed. There are a total of 12 task cards.

The printable includes:

- 12 task cards in colour and black versions

- Recording sheet

- Answer key.

How to Use:

- Print the cards on cardstock in colour or in black and white. Laminate if desired.

- Cut the cards apart and place them at a learning center with a stack of recording sheets.

How to Use:

Depending on the exact addition skill being taught, teachers will choose one of the addition mats for students to use to work on each addition problem. This set of math rings is for teaching the commutative property of addition and related subtraction problems. These cards focus on concepts and ideas that are taught in the first grade classroom. Print, cut and laminate. Then, place the cards on a ring. Addition Set A: This set is for learning the commutative property of addition. This 1st grade math ring is designed to help students create their own number bonds and addition problems by using picture prompts. This set of rings goes up to sums of 10. There are 16 cards in this set. They can be made as one ring of 16 cards or in two rings of 8 cards. The first 8 rings have sums up to 6 and the second 8 rings show sums between 7 and 10. Students will circle two sets of shapes to create their own number bonds with the shapes provided. Students will use dry erase markers to record their answers in a number sentence and within a number bond. There is an optional recording page students can use to record their answers. To put these cards together, simply print, cut and laminate. Use a hole punch to punch the hole in the top left and use a ring to place the cards together, in order. To make two sets of 8 rings, then print the directions and cover (at the bottom of this page) twice Even though this is titled a 1st grade product, it would work well for higher level kindergarten students as well.
